THE ALPHABET SONG!!

TIME-LINE

First  Jon  brought  a  big  paper,  then  in  the  school  we  drew  a  time  line  on  it  with  years  and  inventions.  Then  we  sticked   photos and we showed  them  to our  family  and  friends.

WHEEL

Eugenio  brought us a carboard and  with the carboard we did a circle and we calculated the perimeter the diameter  and the radium. Then we showed to Jon.

In the note book we wrote what we did.  We  passed on A3 sheet of paper and then we showed to Jon.

ODOMETER

First,  we  chose the matter, and  the  matter was "Inventions." We went to  the technology class.
First  we did steering  wheel  with wood.
Then, Jon  brought  us  the  cardboard, and  with  the  cardboard we did different tries to do the
gears in the wood.
Then, we did the wheel, in the wood we did ten holes. And finally the details.
Leonardo Da Vinci  invented  the  odometer.
The  odometer  is  a  machine  to  measure the distance.

RAMP!!

First  Eugenio brought us a  ramp and 5 balls. We thought with that ball we could measure the distance and the time. We drew a graphic with distance and time.

JAIALAI COURT MEASURE!!!

Jon (he is the school caretaker)  wanted  to  know  the  distance  when  he  is  cleaning  the  jaialai  court.  Then,   we  went  to jaialai court  with  Jon  and  we  measured  the  court  with  our  odometer  and  it  measured  820,5m.

SCALES EXPERIMENTS

Arquimides  was an  inventor  and  he  was  born in  300BC  (before crist)  in  Siracusa.  He was  good at  mathematics and he investigated different experiments with volumne. We went to the laboratory to try different experiments with scales, and we realised the scale moved to the side where there was more weight. When you are inside  the  swimming  pool  it  is  easier to  pick  up  a  person than  when  you  are  out.

BIOGRAPHIES

First, we read Mozart´s biographies and we worked on it. Then, Laura brought us other three different biographies and we did the same . After that , we designed our biography and for that we brought
some photos from our house, and we sticked them on the cardboard. In the  end,  we  hang  them in the
corridor.

NUMBERS

We  wrote  the  numbers  from  0  to  100  in  class  in  basque in spanish and in english.

In  english  we  speak  and  spell differently, be  carefull!

MAKE SENTENCES WITH WORDS

First  we  told  Jon  some words  in  spanish, basque  and  English  to  write  them  on  the  blackboard.

Then we  worked  in small  groups  and  we  made  sentences  with  them,  when  we   finished,  we  read them  aloud in  class.

Here   you  have  some  examples:

                                                     1.) Eskolan euli bat dabil zerura begiratu eta koloreak dabiltz

                                                     2.) Yo vivo en el caserio y tengo un cierbo  que le encantan los

                                                     platanos     y cuando me pongo la camisa del platano casi me come.

                                                     3.) Now, we go to the mountain in the car and then we go home.
